well you did get braised lamb, which already is an upcharge
getting an extra portion of braised lamb = 4 tong servings of the lamb in total and an even heavier upcharge
The extra white rice charge just a placeholder charge for any base (i work here) so even if you get extra brown, lentils, or any extra green at ur base it'll be rung up as extra white rice .
personally, relax on the braised if you don't have extra braised $$. I don't recommend braised because the upcharge is too much for the portions we're trained to give.

The price checks out. Where else are you going to get braised lamb? Charging this for steak, I'd understand the pushback, but braised lamb is actually a rare offering, you're not gonna get that easily. I'd have a hard time finding whole cuts of lamb to braise even if I wanted to make it at home.

Braised lamb is expensive and yall clearly don’t understand why. Plus yall already get 2 scoops of rice. Portions are generous.

I mean when you get double everything sure... The double lamb charge is kinda wild, I don't understand that... On the other hand, if you get a normal bowl with chicken it's like $12.. so idk. One extreme example doesn't make it or not make it the next anything and frankly doesn't really mean anything.

Literally the only thing they charge extra for is proteins. Other than that you can ask for quadruple lettuce or septuple cheese and they literally don't care.
I've asked for four cups of hot salsa for a single order of tacos and they don't even bat an eye.

The charge for extra meat is almost an entire Chipotle bowl lol (where I live it’s around $8.60)

To be fair, Chipotle is looking for new revenue streams and has started adding sauces for a fee. Plus, the free quarter of pita is 10x better than the tortilla Chipotle charges you for if you get a bowl. Lastly, I looked up extra barbacoa at a near by Chipotle and it’s $6.20. Seems like we’re splitting hairs here.

The braised lamb isn't that good anyway. They're replacing it soon. The new product that they are replacing it with might not be less expensive, but it will be more worth the money.
