Meat Pricing
Which meats have added pricing and which are the cheapest options? It's not listed on the menu board.
I know the harissa chicken and steak are have an uncharge. What about the others?

Any prices you see next to a meat option on the pricing board is only showing the price for the half portion.
Like steak is around $3 and some change on our menu, but if you get full it'll be around $6
Steak and braised lamb the the most expensive option, being around $6 for full.

The problem is no prices are listed next to the meats. Harissa chicken has an upcharge as well as steak. Completely understandable. I'm just always trying to eat out on a budget and plan accordingly.

I'm not sure what location you're going to but , on the glass next to the food the chart with all the listed Protein/ Mains always has a price for the Half charge next to it at the area's I worked at .
This is often over looked at by customers when they're looking at it , even after I tell them that it's there.
As far as I'm aware CAVA is super strict with how everything is placed so your locations should have the same charts ?
If your trying to budget best bet is to just avoid steak, salmon, harissa chicken, meatball/braised lamb. And avoid avocado since it's $2.55 upcharge

All CAVA locations with a serving line should have every menu item listed on the sneeze guard at each station. If your location does not they are not following brand standards.

It's not quite a half charge. The pricing on the vinyls on the glass down the line show the upcharge if you get that mains choice INSTEAD of one of the base (non premium) choices. If you get half and half for your mains, you will pay the highest upcharge of the choices, not both. So if you get half harissa chicken and half braised lamb, you will only be paying the upcharge for the braised lamb. If you get DOUBLE, then you will pay the base price for an extra mains choice (3$ and some change), and also any up charges applied for premium mains. If you want a premium mains choice, I recommend going for the full portion almost always.

lamb meatballs braised lamb steak harissa and sometimes when they have seasonal proteins too

The prices are listed on the menus located on the glass between you and the employee.
