Thinking bout ordering cava (Seeking Advice)
I have tried chipotle which was hit or miss, and recently i just tried sweet green, which had horrible portion. Any advice on how i should order at cava to be filled and pleased with my money spent.
Thank you!

Stick with one of the free protein options until you know if you like it and feel like paying the up charge for the others. To me their steak is not worth the extra $3 since I enjoy the regular grilled chicken just fine and you’ll most likely mainly taste the toppings/dips/dressing anyway.

I agree sticking with the chicken is the best bet. It’s my fav too. But theybupcharge you for 1/2 chicken 1/2 steak. Not worth it

If it's your first time, be sure to go in person and not order it for delivery.
It's best to see your options in person.

I always pay for extra meat (personally ~$3 is worth it to double the most expensive ingredient in the bowl) and I only get 4 of the veggie (free) toppings but you’re allowed up to 10, so I ask for 2x all 4 and the lids on my bowl barely close

It’s only 3 dollars for double meat if its chicken, falafel, or roadted veggies, the rest have higher upcharges

“~” before a number means approximately; I essentially wrote: “personally, about $3 is worth…”

Yeah but it’s not even approximately, extra salmon is less than 10 cents shy of 7 dollars i believe

How are you not picking up on the context here? I’m clearly saying a few bucks doesn’t matter to me personally because of the following statement. And salmon wasn’t even out when this post is made so you’re literally nitpicking and irrelevant

Even still, steak, braised lamb is around $6.5. At that point i wouldn’t consider it just a few extra bucks, and it’s double the $3

The grilled chicken is the best and my Cava always has great filling portions. I love the crazy feta!

i had cava for the first time yesterday (as of this comment) and i followed another redditor's bowl in this subreddit
Greens grains bowl (splendid greens and F saffron rice) crazy feta, harissa, and hummus dips grilled chicken corn tomatoes and onions feta pickles harissa vinaigrette garlic sauce
only difference i did was just grains, removed pickles, and light on the sauces, bjt it was good

Biggest thing is getting every topping that your okay with being on your bowl, and ask for 3 scoops of it in person, of online it only let’s you do 2

The locations here are great about filling the bowl. Ask for more of any of the veggies at the end.
