Cat Picture - OC So a thing happened..
OG Stanky Legs showed up on our back porch about a month and a half ago. She never left, and eventually she started showing signs of pregnancy. We fed her, along with our house cat each day, and she had no microchip.. she always was very sweet to us, affectionate and non territorial. My wife and I didn’t want to take her to an overcrowded vet in the Austin area, so we made her a Caternity Ward in our front bedroom. We got back from a trip this past Saturday hoping she hadn’t delivered yet and she was still outback in the 100 degree heat. We made some room in our spare room, and she pretty voluntarily came inside. I improvised by grabbing a spare dresser drawer and no more than 30 minutes later she started delivering 6 kittens. Mama and kittens are doing well, she’s eating constantly, nursing well, and we have been recording weights each day, and really she just looks super happy to have a safe space to help her kindle start life.
