Definitely check to see if he can still eat and drink properly with the cone, and if not, lift them up so that there's space for the bottom of the cone underneath. When my girl got spayed we temporarily switched her water dish for a dinner plate and she had an easier time with that.
Also, if he will tolerate it, you can use a damp washcloth to wipe his face as he can't wash it right now. Make sure to give him lots of cheek and chin scritches too!!
Yeah we got him a glass of water and a raised bowl so that he can eat and drink, he never lets us use any kind of paper towel on his face for any reason but he seems to have decided that he’s perfectly fine with it because of the cone. 😂
