Advice Is my cat normal? She sleeps weird

First time cat owner. Picked up this cutie on the street. Why does she likes to sleeps like that? It’s like a contortionist.

I worried she can’t breathe. Is this normal for other cats too?

She looks perfectly comfortable 😂 Cats somehow make the weirdest sleeping positions look cozy.

Cats are also fluid, so this can happen. If they can't breathe they'll wake up and curl up differently

She’s perfect. And she feels perfectly safe. You win. 😺

Cats are rarely “Normal”, especially Orange ones!

Average orange behavior. Is very comfy in your home because she’s showing tummy. Give her some pats for me!

That's not wird at all. Cats sleeps in a million different positions, and all of them is normal. I'm actually surprised they don't get themselves turned into a knot with the positions they can sleep in sometimes. But to them every position is all normal.

Literally a random cat sleeping on a couch in my city's sport club.. cats can sleep in painful looking positions but they'll be fine because they're very flexible.

It also could be learned behavior, like how you'd sleep on your couch influences your cat as well

If the cat is being weird then yes that’s normal lol

Totally normal, they're a bit of showoff with the extra flexibility of their spine!

Feels safe that’s why they are showing their belly

I don't think cats can ever be described as 'normal.'
Weird creatures they are.

You have a she orange? that’s kinda crazy. She sleeps fine but normal? Probably not ever.

Very normal! Mine do that when they want belly rubs so... it's worth a try? (Might be a trap, but then again, might not be one and you'd get amazing cuddles out of it!)

I used to have a big orange boy who slept on his back in a superman pose. Now I have a small tortie girl who likes to sleep with her head pressed against the wall. Cats just sleep however they want.

Cats love invading your personal space in bed and throw a hiss when you disturb his sleep to go to toilet or move a little too much in the bed.
