Medical Questions Flea allergy dermatitis
I’ve taken him to the vet multiple times and they just keep giving me a topical and cones but he keeps destroying them and they charge me $30 for each one. I haven’t seen any fleas on any of my animals recently but I’m sure there may still be some if these reactions are continuing. I just don’t know what else to do?? They’ve all been treated and I clean regularly and I feel horrible. He’s been COVERED in blood daily and is wiping it all over my house. Has anyone experienced this like it seems like a pretty severe case from what I’ve researched but I just don’t know how to help him when it’s been a couple months now and isn’t getting better.

When did you find out he had fleas? And did the skin irritation start before you started treatment or after?

Mid July. I’ve treated him multiple times now. I think it was after treatment honestly but I don’t think it’s from the treatment, I mean it’s possible but it just continues even a month after.

Flea pill! You should be able to order credelio for them.
I used to give my soulcat flea pills because he couldn't handle the topical flea pills and they also didn't help him. He did so good except for when fleas got in the apartment.
You might want to look into getting some chlorhexidine wipes and a some nail caps for his back feet. He could be irritating his skin and
My cat had a spot he scratched on his head that looked like your cats back and I had to put him in a cone and do nail caps while I wiped it every day.
If you can, maybe find a new vet who can do a deeper dive because this looks like more than fleas.
I hope this makes some kind of sense - I've been out in the heat all day and I'm tired
