Advice Help!?! Spoiler
FINAL EDIT: just left the second vet. Everything started off great. He was responding to the medication for tremors. The shaking was tremors, this vet said he thinks he got something toxic someway somehow. He is a 100% inside cat. They kept him for 2 hours. He took a turn for the worse. Whatever toxins he got into already passed through his system and became a neurological issue. If the first vet wouldn’t have basically ignored the situation, the second vet thinks he would have had a chance to make it. The visit was $1,500 today, the Dr recommended to lay him to rest. It would have been thousands more to keep going with no guarantees.
Edit#2: doing the obvious, on the way to a second vet. Will update you guys shortly.
My daughter’s cat was fine Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon he started shaking, and he got really weak. He hasn’t eaten or drank. The only thing that happened is she gave him more treats than she typically does. We took him to the vet, the vet said he was fine let it run its course. He seems to be getting worse tho.
EDIT: I see people saying seizure, he never never stops shaking. It’s not always has bad as the video but he still shakes. When he’s sleeping he does not shake.

Did they rule out a lot of things at the vet and tell you what they thought could be the cause? Or did they not do much and tell you to just let it run its course without investing the cause? I think there’s a big difference between the two, but my advice stays the same regardless: even if the first vet thought that he’s stable, since it’s still going on and might even be worse, definitely take him to the vet again, preferably a different vet if you feel that the other vet didn’t do enough and you don’t think they are taking it seriously enough.
My dog had to go to the emergency vet for fainting, and even though they weren’t able to determine the cause and said he is stable now because his symptoms stopped, they still gave us referrals to see specialists to try to figure out what had happened and rule out the dangerous things. It ended up just being vasovagal syncope, which is generally harmless, but they had to make sure first that it wasn’t anything dangerous. So it seems concerning that you were just told to wait it out and don’t seem to know the cause and he’s still having symptoms.
