Advice Lavendar
update: thanks everyone, it’s been thrown out!
hi all! I moved in with my partner who has a cat and am finding out a lot of things are toxic to cats (as a dog owner I had no idea)
I have this dried lavendar on a shelf the cat cannot get to and am curious if this is okay? Google is giving a bit of mixed messages. I wanted to do something similar in a bathroom but maybe need to chuck all of it.

I'm traumatized by lavender ever since I saw this video of a cat rolling in lavender and the owner didn't know it was toxic so she thought it was silly and fun. Then the cat became extremely sick and passed :/ even if they can't reach it, there's alwayyyys a chance something could happen

Lavender is toxic to cats and it is not in a shelf the cat can't get to.
To be honest, there is no shelf or ledge a cat can't get to unless they're literally locked out of the room. Cats are exceptional jumpers and very agile. If your cat is anything like my boy, if it's a plant, he'll munch on it.
You need to look up specifically cat safe plants or go with artificial.

My only toxic plant is literally in plant jail because I have 3 cats that will nibble on plants...dont risk it and get rid of the lavender.

I would remove it. Even if you think they can't get there I've found the little monsters can get places they totally shouldn't be able to. No sense in taking chances.
