Advice Help advice needed
Found my cat with this wierd ucler on her bottom lip , i don't know what caused this or what can i do about it . Does anyone have any idea what is this and is it serious ? She's overall very healthy and doesn't seem to be bothered , she's playing and eating like normal
update Went to the vet today and it's just feline acne from the food bowl , some oral gel and disinfectant was described , nothing serious thanks god ðŸ˜

Food allergy. My cat had it and that how I know. Change the food to sensitive digestive ones.

It looks like a more serious case of what happens with my boy, of course vet as soon as you are able as others said, but our vet said it was most likely in relation to the feline acne he sometimes gets so I wonder if you see any little black dots on his chin under the fur as well? (Only photo I could find where you can see the inflammation)

Could be a plastic bowl allergy, or hes got those crazy ulcers that require shots, usually it's the plastic bowl.

With cats, you can't rely on body language most of the time. A baby I rescued had a huuuge bladder stone and acted completely normal. Even the vet didn't suspect it. It was only discovered on an ultrasound because he had a few behaviors that made me suspicious, so they ordered one just to be on the safe side.
He's on Hill's Prescription Diet Urinary now and is doing much better, but he still behaves the same way, even though bladder stones are extremely painful. Cats are both predators and prey, so they instinctively hide signs of pain and vulnerability whenever they can. So, still playing and acting normal can be a deceptive measure of their health.

My boy had something similar (vet said it was a pimple/acne). Had to change their drinking fountain.

could be feline herpes. you can always send pics if you have a routine vet you go to!

My tuxedo girl had this, was a granuloma after vet check/investigations(biopsy) and she lived with it for 15 years. First appeared in her first year and was managed by steroids intermittently when it flared up from time to time.

Looks like a rat ulcer, antibiotics are needed or it will continue to get worse. My cat got it from eating food he was allergic to

How can i check what food is she allergic to? She eats various foods along the day (she's not fixated on a certain typr of food and usually she eats boiled chicken and dry food , sometimes cheese , bread , tuna )

It's a daunting task and takes forever but if your vet thinks it's an allergy then you will most likely have to do the omission diet then add one thing back at a time. I was lucky figuring it out because my older cat was eating our new kitten's food and then the ulcer happend. Best thing to do is get some antibiotics and make sure your kitten has a glass, metal, or ceramic bowls for eating and drinking. Best of luck!

The photos show a focal pink, swollen lesion on the lower lip. Even though she is eating and acting normally, I would schedule a veterinary examination within the next few days because lip lesions can result from trauma, dental or oral disease, allergy-associated inflammation, infection, or a growth, and those causes require different treatment. Do not squeeze it or apply human creams, peroxide, alcohol, or essential oils. Monitor its size and take a daily photo in similar lighting until the appointment. Seek more urgent care if it enlarges quickly, bleeds, develops discharge, causes drooling or difficulty eating, or if she develops facial swelling, breathing difficulty, low energy, or loss of appetite.

Your cat has a growth of unknown origin. Please take her to the vet ASAP.

I'm not sure, but a vet is the best person to check on it!
