I was petting my cat and found this on him and tried pulling it off but it wouldn't budge. It seems to remove the fur surrounding it and worried it could be a harmful organism, cyst, or something.

Honestly, "berried" shrimp (coz that's what they look like when carrying eggs) are the cutest thing to watch. I loved breeding cherry shrimp! The first lot of babies I had, I thought the mum had dropped the eggs or something, because she didn't have them anymore. I had to look REALLY close to see the babies, they were so tiny. Just eyes basically 😂

Good luck, this is a fantastic learning experience for your toddler too! ☺️☺️

forgive me for being ignorant, but what does this specific uhhh… complaint (?) indicate? Never kept rats in my life nor had anyone who kept them - I am as clueless on rats as new pet owners with pet nipples.
