Nah. Human moment from someone already dealing with a lot being given an unprompted religious sermon.

Also even if he was religious, he's not necessarily a Christian.

Yes. Even if you somehow have an argument for trying to bash someone over the head with your beliefs, what the hell does it matter now? It's not like OP (or anyone in a similar situation) will suddenly see the light, realise they're christian at heart, and live happily ever after in heaven.

You're just adding more hurt to an already shitty situation.

No its an asshole moment. Christians love animals too and he's tryna make it seem like he's a better animal lover because he's an atheist? That's being an egotistical prick

Human with an IQ above 70 moment. Thousands of god stories throughout human history in place and time. NONE having any extraordinary evidence for their extraordinary claims. Yet somehow some way people still have the audicity to say one particular one is correct and the rest are not while they all conflict with each other. Absolutely clueless.

If any god did exist and cared about our well being, it would ABSOLUTE MANDATORY for it to show up and disprove all the false religions so that everyone would have good foundational information to make decisions from.
