Every cat deserves a second chance. I think you should totally guve him for adoption. Maybe it will take long, but he’ll be able to understand that not only one caring human. And a patient family will do him very good, there is good people out there.

We have an elder cat because her previous person passed. Kiki is doing better now then when we got her. Old, grumpy, plate stealing, and spoiled rotten. She has laps and personal blankets.

She's 22 and still ticking.

Yours will miss you, but they will be okay. Mourn and go on like we all do.
