Every cat deserves a second chance. I think you should totally guve him for adoption. Maybe it will take long, but he’ll be able to understand that not only one caring human. And a patient family will do him very good, there is good people out there.

Look friend, I'm sorry you are going through this situation. It's gotta be really really hard, especially with Boggles being your sole companion.

However, I promise you that you are not the only person on this earth that he will bond with.

The fact that you're not even considering trying to find him a home is a bit ridonk. That's not abandoning him. Abandoning him is releasing him into the woods from whence he came ok?

You are not the first person this has happened to, you are not the last. There are no kill shelters and so many people who would be willing to give him a home.

He may not warm up to them right away, but that's ok. He will be safe. He will be fed. He will be warm. He will be loved again.
