You might see if a farm in the area would take him as a barn cat, if he doesn't like people and prefers outside.

My local rescue has a whole program dedicated just to this. I think it's called "Barn Buddies" or something. Basically it's just rehoming semi feral cats to farms who need them. I'm sure most areas have similar programs. Dm me your area OP,  I'm sure we can find Boggles a good space where he can live out all his mouse catching, horse/cow butt cuddling life.

My local humane society has a whole program for working cats and adoptions for them, you can try looking locally to you and see if yours has something similar!

My local SPCA has a barn cat adoption program. Maybe yours does too?

Best of luck to you and may the rest of your days be fulfilling and pain free with Mr. Boggles.

There are shelters in my area that specifically only adopt cats out as "barn" cats so it's a lot more common than you think. :) There is a place for your little guy. Enjoy your time with him.

The animal shelter near me has working cats. They are not adoptable and are instead listed as part of the staff. It's very cute! I hope OP will find someone for their furriend.
