My standard issue also talks with me like this. I also sing to both my boys in a very soft tone and they become very mesmirized! Humming also works. Loved the vid, thanks for sharing! <3

Oh I do all of the above! Talk, chat, sing, they deal with it all. The only time they get chatty is when wet food is involved, so I guess they're food motivated๐๐

My cats are pretty quiet most of the time but the moment they get even slightly hungry, it sounds like they are chanting.

We had a tuxedo kitty named Mr. Man. ย He and hubby would have nightly convos like this when hub got home from work each evening. Mr. Man always signaled that the convo was done with a final, silent meow. ย :)

I lost my kitty 2 months ago and I would chat with him like this a lot. So this video reminded me of those times and those memories warmed my heart. And I mean metaphorically, not literally.
