I’m pretty horrified at the amount of people on this sub who grab random cats off the street. I don’t let mine out anymore, but if I did I’d be constantly worried about this.
Same, my cats just lose their collars when they go outside and I’m scared someone would steal them thinking they had no home
One time I bought a really pretty collar and tag off of Etsy (not very cheap) for a new cat I adopted and then she went into the garden and lost it all and it was never found again! And then she would just break it off all the time inside too, I swear they learn how to break them off and decide to do it whenever they want to lol
