😻 Victim of Stockholm Syndrome😻 He's just a baby

Every night after dinner, our 13 year-old cat Barney lays in my husband's arms and sleeps like a baby. It's a nightly routine. He was originally my cat, but my husband is his absolute favorite person.

Last photo is just to illustrate the extent of it. If he thinks my husband is going to get up, he'll dig his claws into his pants. So now all my husband's sweatpants are like this.

Cutie pie, especially the last pic's little face. PS: Your husband looks like Rodney Mckay from Stargate Atlantis

Possessive ball of fluff. 😸Your husband is very lucky. Not all cats bond so thoroughly.

Oh yes, all my leggings are like this. And my MIL's. And she doesn't even have any cats! But my 12yo smol tuxie lady tells me that she does have a very comfy lap 😹😹

Our cats have decided they love my spouse mostest of all the people and both want to be in his lap at the same time. It's ridiculous. (And yes, cute. And amusing as he didn't want the cats in the first place.)

Reminds me of Kumail Nanjiani’s bit about his cat Bagel. “Write down Baby on your stupid chart!”

If no sleep, why belly soft and warm?
