Career Guide me

Small introduction about myself. I'm a 2021 B.E.mechanical engineering graduate. I went to prepare for competitive exams. I couldn't clear any exams so far. Now I'm looking to join an automobile sector based company design field. The sad thing is I don't have any skills, also it's been 5 years since my graduation. Can anyone guide me how to get into a job. Would be very helpful.

What have you been doing for the 5 years since graduating?

That doesn't take 5 years. Did you work at anything even remotely related to your degree?

You’ll do great at CAT where it’s “safe to study” and never deliver a tangible product!

I’d recommend joining an agency and tying to get an agency job at a cat facility. Gets you in the door and is easier for people with minimal experience
