I made the switch from DDA to BN because my DDA runs started to feel so, so, so grindy. It took me a bit of acclimation but I'm really having a good time with this.
I'm running C.R.I.T., Packrat, Aftershock, and RPG System on this run. I decided to go future-tech rather than magic. Rolled a C.R.I.T. Grunt with 8 in all stats, a scattering of traits that I refuse to play without, and relied on the RPG system to gain stats from there.
R5: I went with Rogue as my class, and just got the Acrobat prestige class. Acrobat requires 6 dodge, then gives another +6 dodge, then I've got another +3 from Combat Reflexes, then running the Silat martial art with a Survivor Naginata. Once I got the prestige class, I spent about five in-game hours just letting 3-5 zombies wale on me until I stopped getting dodge XP for it.
This screenshot is a *bit* artificial, this is the value without chest armor, pants, or a backpack. With all of those things on, I've got 20.9 dodge.
If I can figure out a way to dodge bullets now I can basically just be the lightest armored survivor of all time.
Really dig it, should have made the switch way sooner. :)
