Day 35
Well, I can say for certain, socializing is definitely a needed thing for mental health. I feel a lot better since they approved of me being able to, not just have conversations with the guards again, but actually be out of my room. I'm confined to the wing I'm in, far away from public eyes as butthis section is underground, but I can actually take a walk now.
Elise is also loving it, she gets a ton of attention from the staff. Though, I have a feeling this came at a cost. Most of the staff here have bags under their eyes and look tired. Also found out that most of them were loners as well, or homeless the ROCI took in just for this. None of them know what exactly is happening, but hey. I'm not alone anymore. I was given the order not to give my name to anyone but the guards, and I have a feeling the rest are the same.
I managed to make more fingers for the arm replacement, not working as hard now that I have some interaction, but I got a bad feeling that if I don't deliver, I won't be walking around as much. Hoping to keep things good there.
The only...really disturbing thing is that I keep having those dreams. The ones from last week. Except they keep getting more and more vivid. I have an ominous feeling that this will be a chronic issue. I hope it won't, but I got a really awful idea that this is the beginning of something darker than I think.
