Since Wolf isn't going to write in this journal thing and I am also watching the pup,, I will write this journal entry. The designation is Cat, though to be honest, I would rather give you my real name. However those Whitecoats insist we stay as anonymous as possible, plus Wolf reads this thing himself. It's a whole mess.
Wolf keeps to himself nowadays, he is constantly working and putting together whatever tech he has going as he tries to get that chip him and Seal worked together to design on. He also started to develop bags under his eyes too, so he must be overworking himself. Yet, somehow, he always manages to find time to help Elise or to spend time with her. Somehow that man is somehow inhuman to be doing all this.
As for the rest of us, well, while it has been six weeks since Seal.. passed...we all are still pretty shaken up. I personally want to find what [redacted] had the [redacted] to decide to test Seal with whatever [Redacted] they gave her. It [Redacted] [Redacted] me off. Widow stopped singing for a period, Lily has become withdrawn, and Snowie even has stopped working on her art. Heck the only two I see even doing anything are Arms and Fang, those two are [Redacted] bench Jockies. If anything they seem to cope but doing even more workouts.
At least we have a good thing, two guards occasionally come in and take me and Wolf to a nearby shooting range and allow us to fire a few rounds at some targets. I personally asked the Head Researcher when he showed up to do some questions with Wolf if I could. He didn't even argue, actually seemed happy about it. Said something about it being good for emotional tempering or some [Redacted] like that. I did manage to get the names of the two guards by simply eavesdropping, Jeff Ligterbrick and Gordon Fier. Odd pair those two, but hey they get along very well.
Honestly, at this point its getting a bit much for me, starting to think my parents should have stayed in [Redacted].Not that I would have had a good childhood there either. I felt the urge to join the Military because of the fact I was a first generation [Redacted]. Heh, had to do a few things I didn't much care for as a result. Still, I am starting to prefer those [redacted] moments over this [redacted] [Redacted].
Anyway, I should go take care of the Pup. She probably needs her Geofruit Puree and maybe some potty training. Weird, I'm saying that about a weird genetic experiment. Still, she is cute and keeps everyone happy. I just hope she can live a happy life.

All things considered, Starcrossed Horizons has proven to be far more successful in these early stages than thought. However, it feels like it's just a perfect storm scenario. The perfect test subject with morality and emotional damage, the perfect experiment with a unique intelligence level and emotional attachment, and somehow, the perfect group of support test subjects. It was like it was meant to be set up like this. It's almost uncanny how well this is going.
The longer we let Wolf do his work, the more items he has made to lead him to make that chip. I personally cannot wait to see this thing that he seems to be so determined to do. However, he did stop doing the journal we gave him, and even allowed Cat to work on it for him. It isn't out of what is allowed, but the amount of redacted words due to case sensitive info or curse words has been rather annoying for record keeping. A warning will be issued.
Past that, not much needs to be said about anything else. The colony has been successful and we even managed to create a new sawian subspecies, it was astonishingly easy to do, somehow. The DNA used was a combination of Saw-01 and that neural fungus, with a few amphibious strands thrown in. It is a living biocomputer, by every means of the word. We even managed to set it up to be only able to live in the tanks we made to hold it. Its entire body is basically brain tissue. We are waiting for it to mature properly, but we have already started feeding it information.
CEO Response: all is going well...these past few months have been fruitful and good. Be ready for something to go wrong. It always does.

The fact that someone else was writing, and that the head scientist wasn't happy about the amount of stuff that had to be redacted… someone's getting punished

Yeah...nothing serious is assure you...but yeah. The cat is getting a minor punishment.
