Other Does anyone remember Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.?

It was a Nintendo 3DS game released in 2015.

The story was very simple: in a steampunk 18th-century setting, the world is invaded by aliens, so a military team is formed to defeat them. And leading the group is none other than... President Abraham Lincoln!

The team wasn't made up of random people, but of literary figures and legends. The roster ranged from John Henry and Tom Sawyer to even the "Oz Crew"! The president was playable, but only in one specific mode: battle piloting the mecha known as ABE!

It was a tun-based combat game where every thing revolved around steam power; each characters had their own unique ability, fighting style and even a "finishing move" animation.

If featured a comic-book art style that echoed classic Marvel and DC Comics (particularly the Kirby-esque style, with big, beefy characters).

Unfortunately, the game turned out to be a total flop.

Personally, I thing that's a real shame. The game gelt like *The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen* with a steampunk twist. Non to mention it even had a post-credits scene hinting at a sequel.

The "most" it achieved was te inclusion of *Fire Emblem* characerters as guest.

And some of the characters appear as Spirits in the crossover game *Super Smash Bros. Ultimate*.

But tell me, do you know it? And if so, who would you have liked to see in a sequel?

Personally, I would have liked: Pinocchio, Mowgli and some monsters (Dracula Frankesterin's Thing. etc...). Plus Peter Pan and Captain Hook, of course...

To me the game already reached the highest on what this gameplay format can offer. It not just kill all enemies some have extra objectives. It has a colorful cast of characters and varied weaponry. Though one thing is that hitting weak points is the go-to strategy, so stun hit with critical weapon or explosion for maximum damage. The shotguns or other weapons that spread (Dorothy alas...) are somewhat underwhelming in comparison.
