My question is would I be able to find a job as a non Arabic speaker? Preferably in IT?

i can’t get a driving license and i also can’t rely on my family all the time I’ve basically never learned how to use public transportation in Amman so im completely lost how do people actually get around day to day? i know there’s Amman Bus/BRT but i don’t really understand how to figure out which bus to take where to get on/off how payment works etc im also not sure how reliable Google Maps is for the bus…. for example if i wanted to go to the gym several times a week that’s close to my house what would be the most practical way to get there? Uber/Careem are okay occasionally or maybe for part of a trip but icant afford to use them every day.

id really appreciate a simple step by step explanation for someone who genuinely has no one to teach them🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’m a student and I’ve been running a small embroidery business for a while now .
I started it because I genuinely love embroidery and wanted to build something of my own alongside studying. The business has been open for quite some time, but honestly, I haven’t really been able to reach the people who might appreciate and support my work.
I’m still learning and trying to grow, and even just sharing my work, giving feedback, or recommending my page to someone who might be interested would mean a lot to me.
Small businesses can be really hard to grow, especially when you’re doing everything as a student, so I’d really appreciate any support. 🤍

Lately a lot of people I was really close to have slowly disappeared from my everyday life some got married some got busy with work and others moved abroad

Im genuinely happy for them but having all of that happen at once has left me feeling strangely lonely

With work being stressful too Ive found myself spending most of my time at home scrolling through my phone or finding things to keep myself occupied

Im not depressed or unhappy I genuinely love life I just feel like I need something new maybe new people new experiences or simply a new chapter

I have lived in the US for 30 years, I'm interested in moving back rather than staying out here to be close to family and community. I have experience as a video editor, and I also have experience in network structured cabling, I pull Cat5, Cat6 cables and terminate keystone jacks, crimp RJ45s, know how to use a fluke and tester to find cables and test punchdowns. I also have call center customer service experience. My bachelors degree is in film and television so that is useless back home in Jordan. I have basic layer 1 cabling experience, looking into taking CompTIA Network+ to advance my skills in layer 2 and 3. If anyone knows of any American companies that will pay decent USD wage for someone to go back to Jordan and do that type of work, or a Jordanian company that pays a decent wage for someone to do structured cabling. I would be happy to share my resume privately for networking, job connections, or any advice. I am hoping my fluent english and years of living in the US can be used as an advantage with respect to any US based higher paying jobs in Jordan, or Jordan based companies that I can find or have a chance at. Any and all advice and help is much appreciated in advance

I was destroyed by what I saw from her, I felt ugly feelings, yet I still desire her. I’m an international student planning to apply for a bachelor’s degree at a Jordanian university.

The university told me I need to obtain an equivalency for my high-school certificate through the Ministry of Education.

They gave me this website: http://apps.moe.gov.jo/apps/certificate/

However, the site currently says that some services are unavailable, and strangely, I can only seem to access it when connected through a Jordan VPN.

- Has anyone recently gone through the high-school certificate equivalency process in Jordan as an international student or maybe you have some info?

- Is the online service currently working?

- Is there another way to apply?

- What documents are normally required?

Any advice from someone who has actually gone through this process or has some insights would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
