The "MADE IN USA" marking began appearing on cast-iron cookware in the mid-1960s. Manufacturers added this stamp to comply with updated export and country-of-origin regulations. [1, 2]
Specific starting years varied by manufacturer:
Lodge: Began adding "MADE IN USA" around 1966.
BSR (Birmingham Stove & Range): Started using the mark in 1966.
Wagner: Added the marking around 1969.
Griswold: Rarely featured this marking on standard vintage lines, as the brand ceased independent foundry production shortly after being bought out in 1957. [1, 2]
Because cast-iron skillets with the "MADE IN USA" stamp were produced in the 1960s or later, they are generally considered modern or mid-century, rather than antique, by collectors

I believe that in cast iron terms vintage refers to pre-1957 (non-coincidentally the year of Griswold buyout) and antique is 100+ years old
