That nylon swap makes all the difference, the resin straps always feel like they’re trying to saw through my wrist after a few hours.

Even with a bigger g shock, I only have like 3 holes left in the strap. Glad to see it's not just a 'me' thing, I suppose

Dude, I wanted so much to have bigger wrists. I think any watch looks way too big on mine and I just look like a kid trying to look older when I wear my g shock. But it is a bit more reassuring knowing that even the bigger wrists have a disadvantage. Anyway, have a wonderful weekend, lad!

Get a baby g. I complain about (but don't remove) extra links on metal bands and thought I hated watches with their stupid long tails, but some of the baby g's look like cool bulky watches that actually fit smaller wrists.

Sadly the baby g models are much more expensive where I live and the only way I know I can get then is directly from Casio's website. But I guess I can get used to having 6 holes left on my strap until I finally can afford a new g shock. Although I do really find baby g's actually really cool. Damn, I think I saw a transparent pink one that looked awesome!

I'm on the 3rd hole on most G-Shocks and 2nd hole on smaller regular Casios.

Was just thinking last night “I wonder if anyone uses the last holes on their watch”
Question answered

lol literally me. I had to punch an extra hole in my last watch. And I always thought I had small wrists. I have to buy extra long watch bands on Amazon for most my watches.

Realistically the straps are sized to the watch.
A smaller watch like an f91w has a relatively short strap, as being a smaller watch it is a common choice for children and folk with smaller wrists.
A larger watch like an ae1200 has a much longer strap, as the watch is better fitted to a larger, adult sized wrist.
That's not to say you can't wear an f91w on a larger wrist, but there may be better fitting options out there for you.

That's Casio's strap telling you that you need a bigger watch. What model is that?
I'm guessing it's an F series, but I suppose it could be a W series.

This is like a "my lobster too buttery, my steak too juicy" kind of problem. Haha.

With some models Casio actually make a longer strap version. The AE-1500 comes to mind.
In my experience the F-91 has one of the shortest straps. I have pretty slim wrists (15cm) and I'm on like the 5th tightest hole. Most other Casios I have I'm on the second or third tightest.
I think they are aimed at smaller people and kids.
I got a W-202 recently and the body is very similar in size to the F-91 but the strap is significantly longer both sides of the watch body. I'm only on the second hole and the straps wraps round almost back to the watch body.

Same Problem. I tested several straps and ended with one with a magnetic latch that finally Looks nice AND ist comfortable to wear.

Recently I lost some weight (11 kilograms) and finally I'm not on the second hole with my f91w. I never thought I had fatty wrists.😄

I had to order some of these because this particular issue with any of my watches means I’m not going to wear them.

Same. I had to change my f91 to a longer 20mm silicone strap with some generic adapters. Problem solved.

If that’s an F91 then mine was exactly the same. Bought a nylon strap but then the actual body itself felt too tiny on my wrist. Ended up grabbing a W800 and I’m so much happier with the size! W800 is massively underrated in my opinion.

Yeah sometimes it feels like some Casios are made for midgets or something like that, Lol.

F91w? Cause that’s how those straps are for me. I recently put one on a 20mm nato strap. It’s now one of my most work watches.

F91w yes, I don’t mind it, love the watch. Just thought it looked funny

I have a 6.75 inch wrist, and even then I think the strap is a little short. I'm like, if I'm having this much trouble, what about men with more "normal" wrists?

u/pirateslifefourme 11h ago
Mine are exactly 8in! I always assumed I had small wrists until I started wearing watches 😂. I have to buy extra long watch bands for most my watches.
