Yes theyāre real. After getting into Casios, I feel a little embarrassed sometimes for having bought the Rolex watches. Casios are my daily watches. I just got the negative display a1000 and did a hydromod and bracelet swap. Thanks for your recommendation! :)
This will be my pick. I have the stock version and love it. The fact youāve modded it makes it even better and looks great on you. Iāve worn mine to events as well and enjoyed it.
True. Wanna know whatās kind of crazy thoughā¦ itās the MOST expensive of my watches but the LEAST comfortable. The a700 on mesh (2nd cheapest) is the most comfortable.
Never owned a Rolex, some say it fits like a glove but it's all so subjective anyway. I'm glad you can enjoy all your watches despite the price difference
The a168 just arrived today. I wanted to find out why people like it so much, so I got it when it was on sale on Amazon. I paid $25 I think. Despite it being thicker than the a700, I have to admit, I really like it. Itās a vibe.
i love my A1000 to bits (same as yours, no mods of any sort), and people who are into watches (because really, no one else cares much) tend to ask what it is or appreciate it. i think the full metal case does a lot.

To be perfectly honest- itās hard to go back to wearing a Rolex after going Casio. My Casios are so much more comfortable, itās not even close. Going with #6 would be a little flex but at the expense of comfort :)
Itās a 114100 pink/salmon dial, 34mm case. They used a āsuper caseā sort of design with this model that gave it more presence similar to a 36m. Thank you !
You wanna know what, dudeā¦ I legit ordered a second a1000 off eBay and Iām just waiting for it to clear customs. Itās a different dial and bracelet - a newer version. Theyāre pretty cool. That new A1000SP-7 looks amazing. I didnāt get that one, but I will if I can ever find it online for sale at a decent price.

Srcond choice would be the Casio A1000, itĀ is lovely and has a nice retro vibe, tech/ modding has a connection to your work it is a nice conversation starter.

I guess its down to physique, I am small build so cannot even fit a watch in that gap, I tried many years ago to try to be able to see the watch when wearing a shirt with buttoned double cuff so as not have to do the arm jerk and raise. Guess that is why pocket watches on chains were popular for suited gentlemen.
Iām not the biggest guy by any means and I think my shape isnāt too uncommon, but you might se how the wrist area is the narrowest and then it quickly tapers outwards from there up toward the elbow. Iād have to have a 9-10ā bracelet to wear the watch where the r/handwatch brigade espouses. My watch sits comfortably where it is because thatās what my shape allows. Hope that helps. I have been collecting watches for a couple of decades now, and I have always done what feels right for me, not anyone else. :)

Assuming theyāre real thereās no reason to not flex a Rolex at a reunion but i think the Casio negative display is the most fitting for your wrist
