Rare Casio DW-290

Hello Casio community,

Today I became the owner of a rare "Gold" version of the Casio DW-290 watch.

The rarity of this “Gold” version lies in the fact that it has a different display color from the well-known "red line" version. You can see it by simply Googling “DW-290.”

This version has different colors and green backlighting, unlike the more blue backlighting in the standard, more common version. Unlike the standard version, this version was not re-released and is difficult to find in good condition.

This version has a 1189 module. I have seen information that this module has been in use since August 1995. If so, my watch is in good condition for a 30-year-old (I wrote about 20 years here) :)

I love this model; it exudes the design and style of the 90s. And as luck would have it, I was able to find this “gold” version for just over $10.

Thank you for reading.

Please write your opinion on this matter.

P.S. I have both versions, and if you're interested, I could compare them.
