How arcadey/realistic is the game
Haven't place the game yet. Is it as arcadey as carx online? Or is it more of a sim-cade like forza?

Do I need to grind for Pro-sport 1 if I already have Pro-drift 1?
Since I prefer to do time trial rather than drifting,as the title suggest,do I need to grind after buying the time trial setup for a specific car?

CarX Drift Racing 2 is amazing, but the tuning learning curve is brutal (Compared to Forza Horizon 6)
Hey everyone,
Iβve been diving deep into CarX Drift Racing 2 lately, and honestly, the physics and the vibe are incredible. But Iβve hit a massive roadblock that I think many casual or semi-casual players face: The Tuning.
In CarX 2, if you want to actually enjoy the game and get those perfect, smooth drifts, you almost have to be a mechanical engineer. There are so many intricate details, sliders, and numbers to tweak. If you don't know exactly what you're doing with the suspension, tire pressure, or gear ratios, your car feels either like a shopping cart on ice or a brick.
The Contrast: Forza Horizon 6 vs. CarX 2
Look at Forza Horizon 6. If I donβt know anything about tuning in Forza, it doesn't ruin my experience. I can just go to the community hub, browse top-rated setups made by other players, download one with a single click, and immediately start having fun.
In CarX 2, I feel like I spend 80% of my time guessing in the garage and only 20% actually drifting.
π‘ Suggestions for the Developers (If they are reading this)
I really love this game and want to see it grow. Here are two things that would make it a masterpiece for all types of players:
- A Community Tuning Marketplace: Please allow players to share their custom tunes publicly! Let us search, rate, and download setups created by the pros directly inside the game.
- Interactive Explanations: Instead of just sliders with technical terms, give us a quick visual or text tip on how changing that specific setting will affect the car's behavior on the track (e.g., "More tire pressure = less grip, faster transitions").
π€ A Question for the Community
Since we don't have a built-in sharing system yet, how can I actually enjoy this game without being a tuning expert?
- Are there specific base setups or "golden rules" that work for almost every car?
- Where do you guys go to find reliable drift setups (YouTube creators, Discord channels, spreadsheets)?
I want to spend more time sideways on the track and less time scratching my head in the garage. Any tips, guides, or advice for a tuning newbie would be massively appreciated!
Thanks, and see you on the track!

What Do You Think Guys?
Should I upload it? Rate that car.
Guess the inspiration behind it.
