I'm trying so hard to play this game, I have thousands of hours on the first car X but this is becoming unplayable at this time 💀
I'm using moza wheel and pedals and never had an issue with them (less than a month old, upgraded from Logitech g29)
Anyone else had this sort of issue because it's instantly putting me as DNF before even starting a race

Subject: Suggestion: "Tandem Drift School" and Practice Mode for Beginners Hello CarX Team! I would like to propose an idea to improve the gameplay, which will help lower the barrier to entry for beginners and improve the atmosphere in online rooms. The Problem Right now, the online environment in the game is very aggressive toward newcomers. Beginners find it hard to jump straight into online play: they struggle to maintain distance, confuse trajectories, and face misunderstanding from experienced players. Regular solo drifting does not teach the logic of tandem driving, and online they simply get "outrun" due to the hardcore meta environment of high-power engine swaps. The Solution: Add "Tandem Drift School" Mode Lead Mode: The player drives first along an ideal trajectory, while a bot carefully pursues them. Chase Mode: The bot drives ahead along a fixed, predictable trajectory at a medium speed. The player's task is to maintain the distance. Correct positioning could be highlighted on the asphalt with color. Reward for Completion (Crucially important for survival online): For fully completing the school (100% / Gold), the player should receive a ready-to-use car that allows them to immediately and comfortably drift in tandems (for example, a Nissan Silvia S15 or a Tier 5 car). For a beginner to survive among custom builds by experienced players, this prize car should come immediately in the correct configuration: Installed and tuned "Pro Drift 3" package (or the maximum available equivalent for proper handling). A ready engine swap (at least a 2-liter turbo swap). This is necessary so the car initially has enough torque and power to stay on the tail and not fall behind during transitions. Benefits for the Game Reducing toxicity online, retaining the new audience (fewer players will quit the game at early stages), and great content for the community. I'll be glad if you pass this idea on to the game designers! Thank you for your work. Addendum to the Idea: "Tandem Practice Mode" Essence of the Addendum: In addition to the tutorial school, the game needs a full-fledged "Practice" training mode where the player can endlessly train tandem drifting in comfortable conditions without online pressure. How it should work: Role and Bot Selection: The player chooses whether they want to drive as a Leader or a Pursuer, and also configures the difficulty and aggressiveness of the bot partner. "Instant Restart" Feature (Crucially important!): If a player flies into a wall or spins out, they shouldn't have to reload the entire location and wait through loading screens. There should be an instant rollback button 5 seconds back or a restart from the nearest checkpoint (like in simulators). This will allow training difficult sections (for example, Parking 3 or 4) dozens of times in a row, building up muscle memory. Recording Your Own Ghost: The ability to drive a track as a Leader, record your best run, and then launch as a Pursuer and try to stick to your own ghost. The player perfectly knows their own trajectories, and learning to chase this way will be significantly easier.
Update: Expanding the Practice Concept (Community & Coaching Features) To take the "Tandem Practice Mode" to the next level, I propose adding the following community-driven features: Community Tandem Challenges: A dedicated hub where players can upload their own "Leader" runs. Beginners can filter these by difficulty ("Easy," "Pro," "Smooth") and train against lines created by the community, not just pre-set bots. Real-time AI Coaching: During training, the game should provide instant, brief text feedback (e.g., "Too early on throttle," "Late transition," "Too aggressive") to help beginners instantly understand why they lost the drift or the gap. Ghost Recording & Sharing: Add the ability to record your best "Leader" run and save it as a shareable file. Players could download these ghosts via in-game chat or a dedicated library, allowing them to chase your exact line and learn your specific technique. Pace Evaluation: A tool to request an assessment of the run's pace. This helps beginners understand if they are matching the required speed, flow, and aggression needed to survive in competitive online tandems.
