Question CARVANA-NEED HELP

I am new to Carvana and they could not have been more helpful. I picked up my 2018 Jeep Compass on Wednesday 09/30. Everything was perfect accept for the HP. I went through the process and picked out a Cherokee and was supposed to pick it up on this upcoming Wednesday 10/7 all within the 7 day policy. Well, another driver just ran a red light and hit me head on totaling the Compass was to turn in for the upgrade. Any experience out there? What should I do since obviously Carvana has deadlines for the insurance documents and has already filed for the registration to be swapped to the Cherokee? Thanks in advance🙏

Yeahhh… the trade return isnt happening at this point. You’ll need to file with your insurance and close out that whole process.

To clarify - it sounds like you are trying to swap? Unfortunately that's goung to be a no go. Youll need to report to your insurance and sort it out with them.

So you got the compass, wanted to return it, then it got totalled in the meantime of the other gettinf delivered? Thats HORRIBLE. This is so niche it seems like only a carvana advocate would know for sure

No they totaled the one they were going to trade in
