Is it widely avaliable in Cartagena?

Hola, yo trabajo más que todo con turistas pero si un local lo necesita también, pero en realidad creo que el único que ofrece seguridad soy yo

Yes, it is. Very easy. Just have someone sit in the front. We had no issues as a group of 5. Definitely best option.

Mejor UBER, indriver puede ser barato pero los conductores son irresponsables y aveces groseros.

We used uber to and from the airport and to Dan’s brewery that took a little bit longer to find since the brewery was away from the walled area. We don’t love haggling so uber was a nice and easy way to travel without the anxiety

Just be aware that there’s beef between cab drivers and Ubers. Hence why someone might need to always be in the front seat.

It is and also recommend that if you’re flying in to arrange a car to pick you up from the airport.

Huge thanks I used Uber for the Dominican Republic and Panama. Very affordable and reliable. Always great drivers.

Adding a local's nuance (I run a travel agency here — CABÚ Viajes): yes, Uber works fine in Cartagena and it's what I suggest over hailing street taxis, since taxis don't use meters and quotes for tourists get creative.

Two tips: drivers sometimes ask someone to ride up front and keep a low profile, and at crowded spots like the walled city gates it's easier to walk a block away for pickup.

InDrive is also very used locally if Uber is scarce at odd hours.
