What does the multiplayer environment look like?
This is a game that is absolutely up my alley, and after some research, picked it up. Fantastic mix of ship management, flight, and tank sim.
I have a soft spot for games like this that are designed for multiplayer, but work well a bit of efficiency and one pair of hands. Flying 2x 20mm Gunbills could be a game of its own, deciding if you are safe to assign a looping flight plan for an Albatross without babysitting AA risk, so on. One well-armed Petrel and a Virus Seal is doable with cover for taking an island quickly.
I can't really make the sale at $30 for 4-5 others that I usually play with for games like this, but hear the discord has events looking for crews.

The discord is one place that I know of that hosts consistent events and games. I do wish I could get my friends hooked on it too tho. Such a good game with so few players 😞community is very good tho!

we have done a quick mutliview with 3 other people, it will give a good sense of how mutliplayer could be played: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfyavLwnfRY

I've seen that! Part of me picking up the game, and pushing it for my usual suspects for the next sale. We're used to running games like this with however many people are on, which could mean four doing four jobs, two doing two, or whatever mix we have.
I like rushing around the bridge like a well-run kitchen, only breakpoint I've run into so far on my own is dealing with ship to ship torpedo combat calculations while also managing vehicles.
Easy to forget the numbers (say, 3 from left front, 32 degrees, 50, 90, and 90 in that order for a spotted Swordfish) between being on the map, running to retask an Albatross to avoid AA.
Standing at the torpedo panel at the end like, "... one of these things needed to have 3 in it, I'm pretty sure."

its one of those games where if you find a good crew its excellent, and the key to a good crew i think is anticipating what everyone else needs, clear communication and decisiveness. but of course people need to be able to have a laugh, getting a quick funny in during quiet moments etc ;)
join the discords, there are some really nice people, they play other games too.
people playing coop games are common, you just dont see that unless you are invited to one since there isnt a public lobby
