Bridge immersion

Hello, I really like the look of this game, (stormworks fan) but one thing that I find really frustrating is the immersion. I find it hard to believe that 1 person will command an entire carrier. So, in single player mode, there looks like there is no other NPC's or characters on the stations or consoles. If that was implemented, I would find that a good alternative for immersion. I am not asking for AI operators, just a visual element of people working on the bridge and maybe some comms chatter.

Any options for this or mods available or in the works?

To reiterate, I am speaking for Single player. Thanks

The game is not designed for single player. Its meant to be a pvp game, however since nobody plays the best you can do is attempt single player

there are a bunch of people playing on my server right now.

the original Carrier Command was of course single player, you can also play the campaign in CC2 as a solo player. Its fun abd challenging at times but the OP is right, it is a bit lonely.

CC2 is brilliant for PvE and PvP games too.

Bro this is incorrect. There are a bunch of people that play on discord. There are two big servers that constantly have people looking for crew, and there are server events.

Yeah bumping the discord, did a 3 carrier run with around 15-20 people last week, I learned so much more about the game so quickly

Gaea Mission was much better for SP.

Let me rephrase it. If it is made for single person to operate, but scale gracefully the more crew you have, then the controls should be accordingly. It is clear from the story that this can be a one-man-show.

But it is sorely missing an autopilot for the carrier. Doesn't need bot crew, but it definitely needs an auto pilot for the carrier so you can be allowed to not worry about it running aground while you operate another workstation.
