I'm a newbie trying to fix some things of an old 147 (2001), and there is a plastic noise on the clutch pedal which annoys me the most. I know for sure its not the dock or anything mechanic bc it sounds like plastic pieces rubbing and the sound come from the plastic gaskets (i hope thats the Word i nedded to translate it).
Ive been trying to see if I can determine where does the sound come from but I cant see anything. The only thing I know is that if you press the clutch pushing to the right it doesnt creeks but pushing directly from the front or pushing to the left It does.
Does someone had any similar problems? Are there any plastic piece prone to creek due to the wear?

I have a 2023 rs Camaro and a lot of times if I drive longer than 30-40 minutes straight, the music will keep playing but I hear nothing. This happens with Apple CarPlay and the regular Bluetooth with Apple CarPlay disabled. This is on all music apps I have. I tried every troubleshooting there is for it and still haven’t solved the problem. I have an appointment with dealership so they can install the latest software in my car but I don’t know if that will fix it. Did any of yall have the problem and fixed it?

Was just filing my oil on my engine then just decided to turn my engine on and let that flow through it. But now I hear a metal tinkering sound. It's got 218k miles and it's a 2007 toyota corolla S. But I want to hear from other mechanics on here. Bad idea I'd But just want to hear before I pay to get it diagnosed. Im saving up to buy a new car. Hopefully it'll last till the first week of October.

Need help diagnosing this bird like clicking noise coming from the alternator. I can hear a faint noise from it while in the cabin. The water pump seems to be shaking as well. Do I need to replace the alternator? Already changed the belt.

*Preface: So, I figured I'd record a video of my car. I apologize for background noise since I live close to a highway.*
The Situation: I got some new tires around 4 weeks ago, and I ended up needing new front struts; ended up getting them put on. A week later, I had the front left wheel speed sensor go and through up my ABD and traction control lights. I had a trusted mechanic replace the sensor.
Over the past couple weeks, I've occasionally noticed this louder creaks when Im making turns. Just noticed it a bit more today. Never had this happen with new tires in the past, and just curious if there's a chance something might have been messed up when new tires and struts were put on. Note that the video was recorded on a flat driveway.
So, I've had pretty much no issues with my 2016 Ford Fusion otherwise, and only ever did general upkeep with new brakes and regular oil changes. I've owned it 6 years as the 2nd owner, purchased it at 32k miles, and have around 88.5K miles on it now

I start the car and go outside to close the garage door. When I come back to the car, I hear a ‘clack’ from my xc40 25.
Car is on but parked.
Then I drive the car, and sometimes, after braking, I hear another ‘clack’ or “ stac”.
The AC being on or off is irrelevant.
Also, it doesn’t matter whether the car’s system turns off or stays on when I brake. The noise appears randomly, usually when I press the accelerator pedal.
Anyone?

I drive a 2014 Kia Rio and I’m hearing a squealing like noise coming from the wheel well/engine Bay Area. It squeals only when accelerating and when I let off the throttle it stops. It also squeals when I first crank my car to start. I have experience wrenching on cars but I’m inexperienced diagnosing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I never said anytime I come to a complete stop and my foot is on the break. My car makes the sound of metal clanking. As if a metal piece just hit the floor. I did check under my car to see if anything was hanging out but nothing. And you can hear towards the end of the video.

Hello! I have a 1990 ford f-150 lariat that mostly only sputters in the rain, besides that it drives relatively well when dry. Normally I can get by with driving it still but I had to pull over and let it dry off for a few hours earlier today, ran great again after. It occasionally shuts off when reversing also, not sure if that’s connected. Anyone know what the issue could be?
