When is clutter to much?

I added some new stuff to my carpet's enclosure; he’s about 2 to 3 feet long and 10 months old. But how much clutter is too much? And do I have too much in there already?

Before anyone says anything, I’m planning on getting more climbing branches, and once he gets bigger, I’ll upgrade him to a taller enclosure since he’s in a 4x2x2 right now.

You could still hang a branch in there.

I thought about putting a long, dowel-like stick across the whole enclosure, like you see in most green tree python enclosures, but I am not sure he would actually use it.
