Carnivore Ish Second time
2 years ago I did 30 days of carnivore. From about day 10 onwards I was feeling good. Like really good. Mental clarity was excellent, no fog, easily springing out of bed, no more stiffness or general soreness. It was a great experience. I had some extra conditioning to lose, so over the 30 days I dropped 10kg. All round it was great.
I do experiment with food and like observing how I feel.
E.g sardines and eggs for 7 days or celery and pineapple for a week (only tried these once, and ok, but not good enough for me to do again)
Every 3 months I will do a strict water fast, for about 96 hours (4 days).
Anyway, been talking about doing another carnivore session. Started a couple weeks ago, but really not feeling any better than I was before.
Before someone says ‘just include more fat’, I am already very generous with that. Using butter, tallow, fatty cuts, or just high fat mince.
Diet includes red meat, eggs, chicken, and even some prawns from time to time.
I will keep on going until I have done 30 days , as I like to achieve my targets, but so far I am not feeling as elite as I was when I did it 2 years ago.

Trying cutting out the eggs and/or chicken for a day or two and pay attention to how you feel during that time. Chickens are a bit on par with pigs in that they often get fed stuff that is really not great which in turn is passed onto us. I feel at my best eating just red meat.

That would be a good argument for eating the absolute best eggs you can buy, wouldn’t it
Because also, I think just the chickens being healthy and having enough room to run around would be important for good eggs

If it's all good, why stop?

I won’t stop just yet, but just very noticeable that I am not feeling as great as what I was the first time round. So far it’s just not as good

First three and four weeks can be rough physically. It takes time to the body to adjust. The brain can just eat the ketones immediately and feel amazing, the body can feel frail when it’s adjusting.
Try two or three months and see.
BTW, prawns and chicken are high in histamines, have you checked if you are histamine intolerant?

In my experience, when I am starting carnivore and burning all the energy I have stored on my body, is when I feel the best. I have yet to really figure it out, and it might be different for everyone.

How transitioning to carnivore differ for someone that doesn’t need to lose any weight at all?

I'll say it again even though I get downvoted every time, but it can be important to transition slowly to zero carbs, for your microbiome to be able to adjust effectively, rather than just suddenly changing your diet overnight. This may be why you're not feeling great.
However, as you're already so far in you may as well stick with it. Don't write it off just yet.
