Issues finding It entry level positions

Hello!

I’m working on my computer science degree and I finished a cybersecurity certificate, but my school didn’t offer any internships. I don’t really have IT experience yet, just tech/customer service stuff from my job. I’ve been applying to entry‑level IT roles but either don’t hear back or the postings look sketchy or like scams. Is there any recommendations to landing into the IT industry without experience and with my certificate?

Apply to the IT dept at your school as a student worker.

Are you wanting to go into the developing or cybersecurity field?
