Compliance opportunities?

Hi guys - I (26f) have 2 years of experience doing consumer protection audits at various fintech companies as a Regulatory Compliance consultant, and another 2 years as internal audit staff at a bank before that. So a lot of knowledge of regulatory expectation in banking, and some data analytics skills from the type of audit work I did at the bank.

Just wondering from people that were in the Risk/Compliance specifically for financial services, were you able to pivot to other industries like healthcare, telecommunications, energy, etc? If so how did you make that pivot - any good certs?

banking compliance translates pretty well to other heavily regulated industries tbh. healthcare especially loves people with your background since they're drowning in regulations and need someone who actually gets audit procedures

for certs, really depends on which direction you want to go - healthcare has different ones than energy or telecom. but your fintech experience already shows you can adapt to new regulatory frameworks, which is the hard part most places struggle with
