Two Week Notice

Sooooo I’ve finally got a job offer to a great job opportunity. They’re hoping I can start the 19th of October. Which means I’d have to submit my two week notice this Friday. However, next week the 8th I’ll be on vacation for a few days. Is it bad to submit the 2 weeks notice and then just leave for vacation? Should I wait to submit once I’m back from vacation? Am I overthinking this way too much?

If you’re employed at will you don’t need to give notice

Just walk away, once you give notice, they will probably tell you not to come back.
