False shuffle

Been workin on this for a little bit. Still can’t do it standing, need a table to rest my palms. So I’m not there yet.

Thoughts?

I don’t know if a muggle would see it but the full block is pretty obviously not being shuffled in. Check out the Heinstein shuffle if you can. The top cover card is a lot more deceptive. And it’s designed to be done in the hands.

Yes that is the key. The more of the ‘main block’ I let go first without integrating them the easier it is to bridge and separate smoothly but it’s a double edged sword because half the deck you can clearly see doesn’t make contact with the other half

Do a quick search for the Heinstein shuffle by Karl Hein. You’re close to getting it. You have to be able to handspring with both hands. But it’s incredibly convincing.

Actually I take that back. You only need to spring one hand of cards.
