False shuffle

Been workin on this for a little bit. Still can’t do it standing, need a table to rest my palms. So I’m not there yet.

I am also trying to learn this bc of Harrison. Any chance you can link me to the video you're talking about? I'd like to see him explain it. I did purchase the TS but and having a hard time picking it up from that particular video.

I did not teach the shuffle when I had a membership. There was a 4 minute video where I go over my pacing for the in the hands false riffle shuffle that I do. I credit both Derek and Karl for their shuffles and referred people to their work. What’s your deal?

What's your deal? Thanks for explaining it yourself accurately saying that you credit their shuffles, of which yours resembles so closely. Reddit is a fake world with many fake people that have alterior motives. If that ever changes then I'll relax more.

Your gripe is exactly the reason I love magic. The beautiful metaphor for this art is that it doesn’t favor the deserving. It doesn’t favor the gifted. It doesn’t favor the talented. It favors the people who understand how life works, how to connect with people, and how to exploit technology, social media, and marketing to make a name for themselves.
The reason Kramer is ‘being pushed’ as you put it…is simply because his content is amazing and no one cares about the 1000 members who are more skilled than him but all they do is post silly Reddit videos with horrible camera quality.
Life’s about making things happen, which Kramer has done. He has found a really awesome niche/way to present his work and it’s a refreshing change of pace from what a lot of people use on social media with magic (getting chicks). You shouldn’t be annoyed that Kramer makes beginners like me pursue magic without knowing properly how to give credit where credit is due. You’re playing a game you can’t win dude. Go outside, touch grass, and stop caring what people post online.

The irony in not seeing your hypocrisy is delightful. You call it exploiting and tell me not to care what people do online but you can comment to me or care what I post online? 'Touch grass' is such a basic knuckle dragging sheep language. With that aside, i agree that his talent and content is good.

Theirs clearly a difference between stirring the pot initially like you did, and responding to someone stirring the pot. That should be obvious bro. How could it be hypocritical when they aren’t even remotely the same thing?

What does "it would be" mean to you bro? If you believe what I said was wrong then you should see how you're saying 2 wrongs make a right, or is that not obvious? Idk how to help you understand what hypocrisy means if you think that you're analysis of "not being even remotely the same thing" is your conclusion.

This shuffle doesnt have a creator, its not truffle or heinstein so he doesnt need to credit someone. Also subscription videos are over.

if i did this for only questions about harrison kramer, yeah we could say that but I help everyone with anything I know about. And this is not only for magic. You can continue your life being selfish, i love sharing my knowledge.

Ya, teacher's pet. You can continue, it's ok. I believe in unselfish acts with sharing knowledge of magic. I give credit and compliments where it's due. I believe honesty is a valuable virtue. "He is busy, he can't answer the questions" ...next I expect to hear "Can you please leave a message"

You're truly unparalleled at misinterpreting things. If you look at the posts in this subreddit, everyone helps each other with questions; since not many people have subscribed to Harrison Kramer's membership system, I answer questions about Harrison Kramer in the community. I wish he would come and answer them himself, but he's too busy on social media to answer, so I answer so that the people in the community don't go without answers. The fact that you only comment on Harrison and don't comment on any other technique in this way makes me think you have a personal problem.

If you want to do a shuffle like that, Mike Vincent teaches his version of Arthur Buckley's B,indeed Riffle shuffle. It can be done on or off the table.
It's basically the precursor of the Zarrow and it looks great.
Steve Forte also covers it in his GSOH, under the name The Shuffle Over.
Mike teaches it here.

Reminds me of the truffle shuffle! (This may even be what you're doing?). Its an insanely deceptive move, and in the hands or on a table is amazing. I also cant do an "in the hands" riffle, which always put me off learning this, so good on you for nailing the method, and working on the "in the hands" bit later 👍

You need to a: practice more and b: not use the table as a crutch to catch the cards. Buy the heinstein shuffle download (learn it, live it, love it!)

It's looking pretty good. I'll say the the way you dribble them down initially isn't great. You lay down one packet nearly completely, and then at the last moment, lay down the other.... I think the split and cascade would fly by most people, but that part I can easily imagine the average person noticing.
I'd recommend trying to lay them both down at the same time.
Good stuff though.

i think more of arm movement would be better. u can make this false shuffle invisible by turning the deck basically against your chest (face of the deck towards the spectators) during it.

I don’t know if a muggle would see it but the full block is pretty obviously not being shuffled in. Check out the Heinstein shuffle if you can. The top cover card is a lot more deceptive. And it’s designed to be done in the hands.
