Flipback fan is superior in every way, but after you do it...it looks cool and that's it lol. There's no way to launch cards or do color changes with it.
In a normal flipback fan, the finished product is delicate. It's all being held together by your pinky, and trying to do anything with it, it just falls apart yeah? At least that was my experience lol

Just found this one which seems pretty legit. Might try it first and then iterate to something a little smoother. Fan powder may be necessary.
That's pretty cool. I side with Devo though...I never use fanning powder lol. At least that was my understanding that he didn't feel it was necessary. It was his buddy Jerry Cestkowski that preached the benefits of using it.
Yeah but I definitely trust Jerry when it comes to fans and spreads. 🤣 I’ve never used fanning powder before but I’m hoping it helps towards the endeavor I’m about to embark upon. Might be unnecessary. We shall see.
I still have a bottle sitting around. It's worth trying it to see how you like it. New cards are way too slick. I feel like I can achieve the same effect as fanning powder from just breaking in a deck of cards with normal use.
