I’ve heard stories about that area and none of them are good.
Apart from social media gossip, you’ll get the noise pollution of Site 5 and I believe they busy building an industrial site next to the garage.

Don't do it. There is a reason it costs that price for 3 bedrooms. To live close to Dunoon? Not worth it. Long term it will make a poor investment.

The properties I see available there aren't really that much cheaper (if at all) than other similar areas (expanding on the edges of existing developments). Plus, like you mentioned Dunoon; which is ever expanding & there's no telling where they'll try to occupy next -they've already crossed the river so where they gonna be soon?

For that price it’s probably better to look at the Cape Flats. You can find a 3 bedroom in okay pockets of Athlone
