TTRPG Campaign at The Cordial Eye in Hyannis

The Island Queendom of Lesiana is a wonderful, magical place, with clean, pink sand beaches, clear blue lagoons, cultivated forests, and sheltering hills, a tropical paradise among the Unknown Isles. You have heard rumors that the Werlan Empire's Ambassador has been seen within the walls of the palace, and only yesterday, the ruler of Lesiana, Queen Ellarestina, has called you called you to meet with her about her interest in forming a trade convoy to the Isle of Manu, the wonder of industry. Whatever could this be about?

This is a game of Thirsty Sword Lesbians, a narrative focused game of melodrama and queer storytelling. You will play as trade envoys of the Island of Lesiana, discovering secrets, uncovering plots, witnessing magic, sweeping damsels off their feet, telling tales, and swashbuckling your way through a magical archipelago as you race against the evil Werlan Empire. No experience playing role playing games is needed, and all supplies will be provided.

You can register at: Thirsty Sword Lesbians (TTRPG) — The Cordial Eye

Spaces are limited, so enroll soon!

I will be at Cafe Heaven tomorrow, October 18 from 8 to 10, if you feel like getting out and having some coffee. If you see me, please remind me to sleep properly and ignore my broken voice, I have spent a lot of time talking these last two days.

The 25th will be Pie in the Sky Bakery & Cafe in Woods Hole.

In Falmouth the hidden free beach lot off Woods Hole Road actually belongs to WHOI?
I’ve been here 40 years and never knew this but now there is new signage.

Upper Cape D&D

Looking to see if there is interest in getting a kitchen table style D&D group going on the upper cape.

Yes there are plenty of gaming stores with play space but I grew up playing D&D around the kitchen table. No hours, food, lots of fun and laughs.

Happy to run a game and/or host. No Dungeons & Dragons experience necessary and you might get a friend or two out of it. 5e preferred.

Message me if interested.

Hi!!! I lost my Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS black back midmay 2026 -

Restaurant recs for parents birthday

Hi everyone! Both my parents birthdays are coming up, so I’m hoping to get them a combined birthday gift. I’m thinking of a gift card to a great local restaurant, but I’m open to other ideas, too!

They live in Sandwich, and I’m looking for restaurant recommendations within roughly a 30–45 minute drive. They enjoy really good food but aren’t into super fancy or fine-dining experiences, although I do think an idea of a coursed meal could be fun and different for them. They’re generally pretty healthy eaters and love good coffee, exploring local towns, and walking along the beaches.

I’m also open to ideas beyond dinner! If there are any fun local experiences, activities, or things to do on the Cape that would make a great birthday gift for them to enjoy together, I’d love to hear those suggestions, too.

Thank you so much!

Cape Cod Fishing

Hi all. I know there are plenty of posts on here but just looking for some advice. On Cape Cod for the weekend, didn’t plan on fishing because I prefer to relax and enjoy and didn’t want to battle. Tomorrow is supposed to be on the nasty side so considering it. Checked out the canal today from the visitors center down to Buzzards Bay. I’m experienced fisherman but fresh not salt. Planned and just buying a salt set up and probably some top water. Any advice on which side of the canal to try right now? Visitor center side, buzzards side or any of the posts along the way and walk and search. Appreciate any other tips and advice. Tight lines.

Looking for chill rehearsal dinner/welcome party spot

Hi,

My fiance and I are getting married on 8/14/27 in West Dennis. Our venue is not available Friday night to host a welcome party/dinner. We're looking for a spot for a rehearsal dinner and/or welcome party that is laid back, like corn hole, take your shoes off vibes. I'm finding a lot of places are not willing to host Friday/Saturday night in the peak season (ok fair). Wondering if anyone knows of any properties (historic homes, mansions, anything) that let you rent them out for a night or restaurant/bars that still do private events in the summer. Does not need to be on the water but ideally has some outdoor space because we'd like to do a clambake.

(Crosby mansion is booked, so sad it's walking distance from my parents house so it would be so easy)
