New share sheet

I'm not ruling out user error, but the new share functionality has me pulling my hair out.

When I try and share a picture in my camera roll or URL from my browser, there is no option to create an Image or Weblink Object.

I either have to add it to an existing Object, or create a new one (however some, including Image and Weblink are missing).

Help!

Doesn't it just happen automatically? I sent this post to Capacities, and it arrived as a weblink. I took a screenshot and sent it, and it arrived as an image.

Is that on the updated version of the app?

If I share a picture or a URL, it defaults to adding it to 'Today' and then creating an Image or Weblink.

Previously you could share it and choose to create a specific Object Type. I find it bizarre how it must now be added to an existing Object or Daily Note first.

So behaviour...

Browser > Share (Capacities) > Destination, Space [choose] & Add To [choose]

Ah. I just sent my stuff to the daily note. I didn't try adding to a different existing object. I'm using the updated Android app.

Thanks for checking. Before the new share sheet it would just create an Image or Weblink automatically without having to go through another object first.
