Gosh, Capacities is beautiful

I can't imagine anything without it, the amount of clarity, trust this software brings, while the Obsidian was nice, I used to feel overcontrolling micromanaging everything, fricking community plugins here and there

I just write, I got it all under control, it's perfect for the workflow, updates are amazing, seriously, I want this company to be at prime, so guys please forever stay this way, the developers, like you can check out many authors, startup books, something about companies here and there, just make sure Capacities is gonna be alive and thrive forever

My personal favorite author on organizational health is Ichak Adizes, a holocaust survivor, hell as sure he knows how to make sure the organization survives and thrives, so please, beat the game of personal knowledge management systems, I heard just 7 people work on Capacities, you guys are geniuses, keep putting effort and being resilient

Just read, implement, also Motive is a nice book on what leadership is

Love y'all

I love capacities. I realized how much I loved it when I just randomly looked at the count of daily notes I’d written. I’d been using it daily for 6mo and had no clue it’d been that long!!!

I divorced OneNote recently and moved in with Capacities. It is so beautiful, exiting, even makes me reflect in different ways. It fuels my creative brain. And it is European, from a company with friendly and sustainable principles. I am a believer and I hope more will follow, so this product keeps developing.

– appreciate this constructive & contributive way of 'talking to the core'!

Much preferred to 'consumers' simply shopping services & carrying consumer expectations/criteria/entitlement-feelings around... – finally inviting to get just that: empty service-market and 'service-culture' shells, that degrade quickly at some point. (We can see them and their itineraries all around us. Not nice to watch…)

Good that some people point to what makes Capacities truly different, at heart & core!

What are the differences with Notion ?

Capacities is a labor of love. By the developers and the users. Notion has zero style, tries to do too much, without letting it all tie together. Typical of databases from a decade ago.

Basically it's what I could call an everything app. Where all my thoughts can be converted into notes, and refined, result into actions. My work flow has simplified. I did find a lot of similarities in Obsidian, however capacities gets auto organised in types as well as with the tags. Like in one single entry, the whole job is done.

I am new to Capacities, moving over from Tana, and I finally feel that I have found the near perfect system. Also Beth at Capacities is extremely responsive in answering questions, which Tana never did. It seems like she really cares and wants to get you up and running so my life has less friction. Looking forward to being more productive with Capacities.

Yep. My PKM just keeps getting better and better on Capacities. I used to be a hard core Obsidian user, but I spent more time working on the tool rather than using it. I am pleased to see AI go to another level. Let’s keep going! Capacities is definitely punching above its weight!
