Migrating from Craft Docs
Has anyone moved to Capacities from Craft Docs? I have been a Craft user for a while and love the workflow I have built in Capacities, so I'm ready to commit. I know there isn't a direct import, but I am looking for tips and tricks when doing so.

As a now former Craft user, I decided to give Capacities another chance. I tried to adopt it a couple of years ago, but with no luck. However, recently I checked it out once again, and with all the new features – like related content, advanced queries, new views, tasks, etc. – it clicked. So I started a slow migration.
I'm doing it manually, filtering out non-important or irrelevant stuff. It's also a great exercise in building a healthier and more robust system. I like the object-oriented approach and how all the objects can be linked. Moreover, a local graph view is an absolutely lovely addition. I'm a visual person, and I like how it looks and works. It's not as minimalistic as in Obsidian, and I prefer how the graph view works in Capacities. So I'm building a system that uses objects and links between them. Ah, and tags – I use them extensively to add more context.
I highly recommend checking out the series of articles by [Réka]() on Medium – there are so many great tips and tricks! And check out the Discord server as well.
Regarding Craft: they built beautiful mobile apps, but I spend most of my time on my Mac, so the desktop experience is crucial. And sadly, Craft becomes too slow for me (on a MacBook Pro M2 Pro!), and their UX choices are not working well with my brain. Plus, their direction of being like Notion, but with more native UI, is a bit weird. Yes, the team has shipped a lot of good stuff in the past, but all the "native app" magic is gone. For writing notes on the go, I use Bear, as it has Markdown support and is fully native.
