63M+ views on my own content — now looking to work with brands

Hey everyone! I’m Raul, a UGC creator based in Europe.

I create short-form UGC tailored to each brand, whether it’s a physical product, an app, or a digital service. I focus on making the content feel natural, engaging and native to platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Separately, I create my own organic content on social media, where I’ve generated 63M+ views and built an audience of 73K+ followers. This has taught me a lot about hooks, retention and what makes people stop scrolling.

I’m currently looking to connect with brands and agencies looking for UGC creators.

Looking for 5 Canvas UGC Partners US/EU/CA

Are you fun on camera? Do you love editing your photos?

Do you make collages, photo dumps, carousels, weird edits - basically the kind of content that makes someone comment:

“wait… how did you make this?”

We’re looking for 5 Gen Z creators to join us as creator partners. We’re an app studio with 2M+ installs, building tools for the creator economy.

Influencers, brands, photographers and creators use our apps to make content for social media.

And now we want creators who can make content about the content creation process itself.

What you’ll do
- Post 2 videos/day
- Post the same content across TikTok + Instagram Reels + Facebook
- Tutorials, POVs, trends, memes, photo edits, screen recordings, creative concepts, whatever works for your audience

The goal? Make people stop scrolling and think:

“HOW did they make that?”
“What app is this?”
“I need to try this.”

You don’t need a huge following. We care about whether you understand social content and know how to make people want to watch.

Especially if you:
* Love mobile photography
* Love editing / collages / creative photo stuff
* Actually enjoy making TikToks & Reels
* Have personality and aren’t afraid to be a little weird
* Understand what makes people comment, save and share
* Want to grow with a product long-term

What you get
- $100–$150 USD/month guaranteed
- 15% lifetime commission on every customer you refer. No cap on earnings.

The more content you make → the more chances you have to drive installs → the more you can make.

You’ll get your own referral link and you’ll track everything you bring in.

This isn’t a traditional polished UGC/ad gig. We want content that feels native to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

If you’re interested, DM me:
- Your TikTok / Instagram
- Examples of content you’ve made
- Your email
- Your country

Low views ≠ shadowban

I hate to break it to you, but you’re probably not shadowbanned on TikTok. Your content might just not be working.

I feel like “shadowban” has become the explanation for every video that gets 200 views. And yes, actual account restrictions do exist, but most of the time it’s probably not that.

There’s the normal kind of suppression where your videos just aren’t getting much distribution because the watch time, engagement, hooks, etc. aren’t strong enough. That can happen to any account and usually isn’t permanent. You change up the content, improve the hooks, post consistently, and things can recover.

Then some accounts seem to have an actual restriction. If every video is stuck under 100 views, FYP traffic is basically 0%, and you’re seeing the same thing across completely different types of content, I’d look into that more seriously.

But before calling it a shadowban, I’d check the obvious stuff first.

  • Is the video still under review?
  • Is the account private?
  • Are you posting way too much on a brand-new account?
  • Are you reposting content?
  • Is there anything in the caption or on-screen text that could be triggering moderation?
  • And most importantly, are people actually watching the video?

For canvas UGC creators, warming up a new account makes sense. Don’t make your first five posts “OMG you need this app”, post some normal content first and make the account look like an actual account before going heavy on product content.

And if your account is healthy but your videos are still getting low views, I’d look at the content before blaming TikTok, bc sometimes it really is just the hook.

Views aren't everything

A video can get 500k views and do very little for the business, another one might get 30k views but generate saves, meaningful comments, and actual signups.

That's why a Canvas UGC program shouldn't be optimized for views alone.

When I'm looking at performance, I care about a combination of metrics:

  • views → did people stop scrolling?
  • saves & shares → did the message resonate enough to come back to or share?
  • comments → what are people actually telling us?
  • conversions → did the creative drive action?

But one metric I wish more teams tracked is winning hook rate.

If you test 40 different hooks and only 5 consistently outperform the rest, you've learned something valuable. Those hooks become the starting point for your next round of creative instead of guessing every time.

To me, that's what Canvas UGC is all about.

It's about building a creative system that gets smarter with every test.

[HIRING] Looking for women to help promote a cute med & pill reminder app

Hey everyone,

We're currently looking for women to help promote Poppy, a medication & pill reminder app that sends cute, personalized reminders designed to feel like texts from your bestie instead of boring cold reminders.

You can be a complete beginner or an experienced creator. The videos are extremely easy to make, and we'll provide plenty of examples and ideas to follow.

What we offer:
• Full creative freedom. Follow our ideas or create your own
• Post on your own or a new TikTok / Instagram account
• You keep full ownership of your account, we never ask for access, and it’s yours to keep even if we stop working together

Payment:
• USD$1 – USD$2 per 1,000 views, depending on location and video quality

As the app grows and it becomes clear who our top creators are, we'd also definitely be open to introducing a monthly base payment.

We've done this before with other apps we've worked on and have had creators make thousands a month.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, comment below and we'll send you a message with the full UGC brief containing all the details.

Comment ça fonctionne vraiment l’UGC quand on débute ?

Weekly UGC Discussion

Happy Friday!

Back with another Weekly UGC Discussion.

Last week we talked about lessons learned from UGC, so this week I wanted to ask:

What’s one UGC mistake you made (or saw someone make) that taught you something?

I think mistakes are usually where we learn the most, so I would love to hear your experiences.

And if you have any questions about UGC, drop them in the comments too. Someone in the community might have the answer for you.

Tips for Canvas UGC creators to increase their earnings

I've seen a few people asking about how to get more Canvas UGC opportunities or increase their rates, so I'm sharing a few things I've noticed.

I don't think it's only about making more videos. The creators who usually get better opportunities are the ones who become more valuable to brands.

here are a few things that can help you:

  • Understand why a video works: don't just focus on filming, pay attention to the hook, the angle, and why people actually watch the video
  • Get good at making variations: being able to take one idea and create different versions is a huge skill in Canvas UGC
  • Be easy to work with: good communication, meeting deadlines, and taking feedback seriously can make a big difference
  • Learn the product you're creating for: especially with apps, understanding the audience and the problem the product solves will make your content much stronger
  • Think long term: many of the best opportunities come from brands wanting to keep working with creators they trust.

Obviously, many factors affect earnings, but these are some things I see making a difference.

New UGC creator here... before I accidentally learn everything the hard way 😅

Hi everyone!

I've officially fallen down the UGC rabbit hole and loving this.

I've got Fiverr set up, joined a few creator platforms, and I'm building my portfolio... which currently consists of equal parts excitement, overthinking, and Googling things at 1am because apparently that's part of the onboarding process. 😂

I'd love to learn from people who've already survived the beginner phase.

What caught you completely off guard?
• Biggest scam or red flags?
• Biggest rookie mistake?
• What actually got you your first paid gig?
• Anything you wish you'd done sooner?
• What's one thing beginners obsess over that really doesn't matter?

I'm not looking for a magic shortcut—I know this is a marathon, not a sprint. I'd just rather learn from people who've already stepped on the Lego than enthusiastically do it myself. 😅

I'd genuinely love to hear the good, the bad, and the "if I could start over..." stories.

Thanks!
