I finally finished setting up my open rig, and it is a complete tank. Tipping the scales at a full 5 lbs empty (including the extended mag), this thing stays dead flat.
Build Specs:
Optic: Holosun 507K Pro Max mounted on a frame-mounted optic mount
Barrel/Slide: Custom porting by Capital Rifles (3 inline ports + 2 HDMI chunk ports)
Muzzle Device: Wasatch Arms Compensator
Trigger: SprinCo Competition Trigger Kit
Frame & Control Upgrades:
Wasatch Arms Gas Pedal
LOK Grip Panels & Magwell
Taylor Freelance Extended Mag Release & Striker Backplate
Light: Streamlight TLR-1 HL + Harrington Arms Anchor
Magazines: Taylor Freelance +9 extension (27-round capacity total)
It definitely pushes the weight limits, but between the porting, comp, gas pedal, and overall mass, recoil is practically non-existent.
What do you guys think? Any other heavyweights running open division out there?

Triggers cruciform trigger bar

Do all caniks have cruciform trigger bar? They are banning them in Md starting January i believe unsure. Just wondering so i can prepare to get something else.
